Actress Drew Barrymore’s half-sister was “found dead” from a suspected suicide in National City, California just days before her 48th birthday.

Jessica Barrymore’s body was discovered in her vehicle on Tuesday morning, with an eyewitness revealing there were white pills strewn on her passenger seat.

Marta Lopez made the discovery when she tried to leave for work but was blocked in her driveway by Jessica’s car.

She attempted to wake Jessica Barrymore to see if she needed assistance, before noticing the pill bottles and calling the police.

Lopez told her, “You need help, you need help,” before realizing Jessica was already dead.

Sometimes, life puts you in touch with the people you need to meet to Help You, to Hurt You, to Guide You, to Leave You, to Love You, and to gradually Strengthen You into the Person You Were Meant to Become.”
