Beyonce changes lyrics to reflect marital issues?

There have been numerous rumors that Jay Z and Beyonce’s marriage is on the rocks, with Queen Bey’s latest actions fueling the reports.

Beyonce changed the lyrics in her song “Resentment” during their On the Run Tour in Ohio and fans took notice!

The singer hinted that Jay Z may have been unfaithful as she personalised the lyrics of her 2008 track, “Resentment”, to fit in with the timeline of the power couple’s relationship.

Instead of singing, “Been riding with you for six years” as are the original lyrics for the song, but Bey deliberately changed the lyrics “Been riding with you for 12 years”.

Fans immediately noticed, knowing that Beyonce and Jay Z have been together for 12 years.

One fan, @CocoPuffs_1994, took to Twitter saying, “She said 12 years instead of 6. Its pretty clear what she meant.”

Other lyrics in the song include the lines, “Look what you’ve done-done to me now. I gotta look at her in her eyes and see she’s had half of me, she ain’t even half of me”.

Beyonce wore a wedding veil as personalized words appeared on the screen.

This follows reports that Jay Z may have had a long-tern affair with R&B singer, Mya, with claims going as far as to suggest the rapper has been financially supporting the pretty 34-year-old.

Jay Z a no-good cheater?

Mya worked with Jay Z in 2000 on The Best Of Me and a source claimed that “she lives off the generosity of Jay Z”.

Beyonce also hinted at marital woes in the song “Mine” with rapper Drake, where she sings, “Been having conversations about breakups and separations, I’m not feeling like myself since the baby. Are we gonna even make it? Oooh, Cause if we are, we’re taking this a little too far”.

Are fans reading too much into it or is this a major hint they plan to split?
