Stephen Baldwin has been arrested for allegedly driving on a suspended license.
The 47-year-old actor was taken into custody at around 7 a.m. in the Sugar Hill neighborhood in Manhattan, New York.
Baldwin was driving a 2013 gold Ford Explorer with an expired Texas registration and a suspended license. Oops!
Baldwin was brought to the 33rd Precinct station house and released with a desk appearance ticket on the license charge.
This is not the star’s first run-in with the law. He was arrested back in August 2012 for driving with an invalid license after cops pulled him over for making an illegal U-turn in Harlem.
And last month Baldwin was in the news after he paid off his New York back taxes with a check for the final $100,000, which he borrowed from an unidentified friend.
The “Usual Suspects” star admitted last year that he had failed to pay state taxes for 2008, 2009 and 2010. The total, plus interest and penalties, came to $400,000.
Stephen’s career stalled in Hollywood, which he blames on being outspoken about his religion.
The actor said, “I just think that probably when somebody calls themselves born again and kind of goes out there in a pretty radically zealous way, professes their glee about that, it can creep people out”.
Stephen is the younger brother of actors Alec, Daniel, and William Baldwin.
