LeAnn Rimes Wants Everyone To Celebrate Stepmother’s Day

LeAnn Rimes' marriage unraveling

LeAnn Rimes and Brandi Glanville have been feuding for years, which happens when you steal another woman’s husband.

But LeAnn appears to be starting more drama by tweeting about how everyone should celebrate step-mother’s day too. Oh, brother!

On Sunday, just one week before Mothers Day, the country music singer took to Twitter to tell everyone she “really appreciated” the article about “who owns” the holiday.

The 31-year-old stepmother feels that Stepmother’s day should also be celebrated.

Brandi, 41, and Eddie Cibrian share custody of the two sons they had together, Mason, 10, and Jake, six.

LeAnn has annoyed Brandi in the past, calling Mason and Jake “her boys”. She seems to go out of her way to stick the knife in a little deeper with Brandi.

LeAnn tweeted on Sunday, “Mother’s Day vs. Stepmother’s Day: Who Owns It?”, quoting the title of a website article from back in 2012.

The article discusses the issue of how it feels to be both a mother and a stepmother, how to go about ensuring both are appreciated, and striking a balance.

Rimes’ followers jumped on the country star about her remarks and she explained how she would spend the day.

She said, “Eddie celebrates it w/ me. The kids, as they should be, will always be w/ their mom. We do celebrate it w/ them another day.”

Rimes later added, “Do some people only read headlines these days?  There is a Stepmother’s day, let’s celebrate it….THAT’S ALL.  I will forever support both mom’s and stepmom’s”.

One user named @EmileeSA pointed out that “support is great, but tweeting the subject makes a statement and potentially causes trouble within your extended family.”

LeAnn then shot back, “If someone takes it that way then that is their issue. Not my intentions and once again, I support both. The article is 4 peace.”

LeAnn continued on saying, “Others cause drama by projecting what they THINK my intentions are onto me. #notmyintention.”

Brandi Glanville apparently took the high road and didn’t participate in the Twitter debate.

But Glanville did tweet something rather interesting yesterday, writing, “He’s my EX- so do I really want him or am I ok with him telling Me how much he LUUUVS ME but is gonna chill with his “backupplan”#nothot”. Hmm…is she talking about Eddie?
