Adam Levine and Blake Shelton’s little rivalry on “The Voice” has been full of snarky remarks and Blake tweeted out Adam’s personal cell phone number.
But Levine attempted to get back at Blake on Monday’s show, having a load of manure dumped onto his shiny red truck.
The Maroon 5 frontman seemed very pleased with himself in his stunt against Blake, calling it a “special gift” for Shelton.
Adam said, “I thought to myself, why not pay him back a little bit?”, using a walkie-talkie to order two drivers to dump manure over Blake’s truck.
“That’s manure, that’s cow dung, that’s feces of animals,” Levine said as Shelton watched it all go down. Of course, Blake is a country boy so cow manure probably isn’t that big of a deal to him.
Adam then stated, “That’s not enough, we’re going to have to bring in some more crap.”
Host Carson Daly told Blake, “That doesn’t look good – that’s going to be a bad ride home for you tonight”.
Blake simply replied, “Shut up.”
At one point in the show, Usher was at a loss for words and Blake joked, “Make fun of Adam’s hair, that always works. People love that.”
