Columbus Short’s wife has filed for divorce after a scary incident with the “Scandal” star.
Short was intoxicated and allegedly threatened to kill his wife Tanee McCall and himself. Crazy!
Columbus’ now estranged wife, Tuere Tanee McCall, claims that on April 7 Short came into the room drunk and poured wine all over her. He then acted like he was going to hit her with the bottle.
Tanee claims he went into the kitchen and grabbed a knife, then pinned her against the couch and began to choke her.
The actor then began naming off guys he thought she may have had sex with, telling her he would stab her in the leg if she lied.
She claims Columbus then put the knife against her throat and threatened murder/suicide when she denied his cheating allegations. Tanee tried to escape, but he slashed ehr car tire.
McCall filed a restraining order and also slapped him with divorce papers.
Tanee filed for divorce on Tuesday, citing irreconcilable differences, and is seeking sole custody of their two-year-old daughter Ayala. She actually filed for divorce last Setpember, but later had a change of heart and dismissed the petition.
This comes after reports Columbus Short pleaded not guilty to assaulting Tanee on February 14 at his Woodland Hills home.
The legal documents stated, “Short and his wife started arguing and it got physical. Short’s kids – a two-year-old and 10-year-old – were watching.”
