Newly single Orlando Bloom was joined by his adorable son Flynn for the unveiling of his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Wednesday.
Bloom’s three-year-old son with estranged wife Miranda Kerr snuggled up to his daddy during the event.
The British 37-year-old “Lord of the Rings” hunk posed with the 2,521st star in blue suit.
Orlando told Variety of the honor, “For a kid in London, Hollywood seems like such a mythical place. I’ve lived a very nomadic life, which I enjoy. But now that I have my son it gets a lot more serious – I want to be in his life and have as much input and influence on his life as I can.”
Orlando Bloom will reprise his role as Legolas for the final time in “The Hobbit: There and Back Again”, alongside Ian McKellen, Cate Blanchett, and Martin Freeman.
Bloom’s estranged wife, model Miranda Kerr, was noticeably absent from the event. The two have remained on friendly terms, but the Australian model was busy in Tokyo promoting her Reebok Skyscape collection.
The couple announced their split after three years of marriage in October 2013.
Bloom told Katie Couric of their split, “We love each other. We’re a family. We’re going to be in each other’s lives for the rest of our lives. There’s no question that, you know, for the sake of our son and everything else, we’re going to support one another and love each other as parents to Flynn.”
