U.S. Customs officials have spent hours speaking to Justin Bieber after he flew into LAX airport Thursday following an Air Singapore flight from Tokyo.
It’s unclear if Justin has yet been cleared to enter the U.S.
Justin and his entourage landed in Los Angeles at approximately 1 p.m. PST on April 24, but his friends, car, and his baggage were still waiting outside for him as of 4 p.m. PST.

Bieber’s trip to Asia was full of controversy, after the singer posed in front of the Yasukuni Shrine in Tokyo, Japan, which honors former military leaders who committed war crimes.
In an Instagram post following the incident, Justin explained that he did not know of the Shrine’s reputation. “While in Japan I asked my driver to pull over for which I saw a beautiful shrine. I was mislead to think the Shrines were only a place of prayer.”
