Jodie Foster has tied the knot with photographer Alexandra Hedison.
The 51-year-old actress got married over the weekend, with her rep confirming the happy news.
The 51-year-old actress and the photographer exchanged vows in a ceremony over the weekend, a rep for Foster confirmed on Wednesday.
Rumors swirled that the couple were dating when they were spotted together last summer. A source said at the time, “It’s pretty serious. They’re totally in love.”
Foster, who normally remains quiet on her private live, “came out” for the first time while accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award at the Golden Globes in 2013.
Jodie stated, “This is not going to be a big coming out speech tonight because I already did my coming out about a thousand years ago back in the stone age — in those very quaint days when a fragile girl would open up to trusted friends and family and co-workers, and then gradually, proudly to everyone who knew her”.
Foster was previously in a 20-year relationship with ex-partner Cydney Bernard. They split in 2008. They have two sons together: Charles, aged 15, and Kit, aged 13.
Alexandra Hedison dated comedian Ellen DeGeneres for three years before the daytime host reportedly left her for now-wife Portia De Rossi in 2004.
