James Franco Sheepishly Admits Trying To Hook Up With Teen (VIDEO)

James Franco addresses teen Instagram messages

James Franco has admitted that he DID try to hook up with a Scottish schoolgirl on Instagram after his embarrassing attempts made headlines.

The 35-year-old actor said he used “bad judgement” when he appeared on “Live with Kelly and Michael” today.

Franco is apparently a fan of “if there’s grass on the field, play ball”, but the star was pretty embarrassed about the world knowing he was trying to bang a 17-year-old girl.

The handsome actor was chatting with 17-year-old Lucy Clode, who was in New York from her native Scotland to see James in the Broadway production “Of Mice and Men”.

She shared a photo on Instagram and flirtatious messages followed, when James Franco asked her how old she was and if she had a boyfriend.

Lucy shared screengrabs, which included two pictures Franco sent of himself to verify she was not speaking with someone else.

Franco stated today during his interview, “I’m embarrassed and I guess I’m just a model of how social media is tricky”.

We guess this debunks theories that the alleged hook-up was part of a viral campaign for his latest movie “Palo Alto”.

The “This is the End” star said the the embarrassing ritual of meeting someone is doubly embarrassing for celebrities because they run the risk of having their exchanges made public.

Franco said, “You just don’t know who is on the other end. I used bad judgement and I learned my lesson.”

The screenshots of the conversation went viral and we can only imagine how humiliating that must be for the actor.

The age of consent in New York is 17, so Franco wasn’t doing anything illegal, but his actions still had fans wondering about him.

On a positive note, you can possibly hook up with James if you hit him up on Instagram!
