Dina Lohan pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated and speeding during a court appearance on Tuesday.
The mother of Lindsay Lohan admitted the charges as she faced the judge in a Long Island Courtroom.
Lohan, 51, was represented by her famous daughter’s attorney Mark Heller, who was at her side for the court appearance
Sentencing will not take place until June 3 and the mother-of-four is expected to be sentenced to receive 100 hours of community service.
Dina is expected to have her driver’s license revoked and to be required to have an interlock device installed on her vehicle. Lohan must also attend a mandatory drinking and driving program.
The guilty plea results from an incident in September 2013, when Lohan was pulled over for speeding and arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated on the Northern State Parkway near her home on Long Island.
She was issued tickets for DWI and speeding. She previously pleaded not guilty and was released with a suspended license.
Dina’s daughter Lindsay Lohan has also struggled with drinking problems. The actress was rumored to be drinking vodka at the Coachella festival over the weekend.
