Debbie Rowe is reportedly set to go to court to ask for custody of her two children with Michael Jackson.

The 55-year-old, who had son Prince Jackson, 17, and 16-year-daughter Paris Jackson with the late pop star, is hoping to obtain custody because she feels Katherine Jackson is too old to care for them.

Michael Jackson passed away in 2009 at the age of 50, leaving behind three children – Prince, Paris, and Blanket.

Debbie reportedly told a friend, “Katherine’s not connected with the kids or involved in their lives”.

Katherine and Michael’s nephew TJ Jackson are currently co-guardians of Prince, Paris and 12-year-old Blanket Jackson, who was born via a surrogate mother .

Rowe would also like to be given custody of Blanket, even though she is not his biological mother.

She hopes to move the three children to her home and ranch in Palmdale, California  and is prepared to go to court to ask a judge to appoint her as their legal guardian.

Debbie Rowe doesn’t want any of the money from Michael Jackson’s estate but adores the kids and would love to have them live with her.

Debbie, who was married to Jackson from 1996 to 1999, really likes TJ Jackson but worries he is away too often after going on tour.

Rowe also wants a close relationship with Paris, who was hospitalized after a suicide attempt last June.

Debbie is now engaged to her long-time friend Marc Schaffel, after originally turning him down.  Schaffel was a former friend of Michael’s, who worked as a gay porn producer.

She was concerned she had cancer, but recently learned from her doctor that she is free of cancer.

In a phone interview on Thursday, the 55-year-old stated, “I had gone into the hospital before and they were worried about cancer. And I didn’t feel that I could say “yes” knowing that.”
