Bruce Jenner just returned home after a family trip to Thailand, being spotted holding hands with his estranged wife Kris Jenner.
There are new reports that Bruce, 65, has reached out to his longtime friend Renee to seek advice on gender reassignment surgery.
Dr. Renee Richards is a transgender rights advocate, who played as a professional tennis player in the US Open.
A source reveals the former tennis pro is now acting as Bruce’s “sex change coach”.
Richards reportedly told the former Olympian that the surgery is a “serious, life-altering procedure and is not something to do unless you absolutely have no other choice. She said someone should consider antidepressants first, because life could become an irreversible train-wreck if you’re not completely certain about having the surgery.”
Bruce Jenner is considering making the transformation into a woman and has even chosen the name Bridgitte.
The rumors first surfaced that the star was transgender, after he had surgery in February to shave down his Adam’s Apple. The chondrolaryngoplasty surgery is often the first step in gender reassignment surgery.
Bruce simply explained it by saying, “I just didn’t like my trachea”.
Dr. Richards paved the way for transgender sportspeople after fighting against the United States Tennis Association requiring female players to be born women.
What do you think of Bruce Jenner’s possible sex change? Crazy or just let him life his life how he wants?
