Tyler the Creator, whose real name is Tyler Gregory Okonma, was taken into custody at the airport in Austin, Texas on Saturday and charged with inciting a riot.
The arrest stems from his show at Scott Inn on Thursday night at SXSW, when he urged fans outside of the venue to “push through”.
The venue had already reached its capacity and a large crowd gathered outside. The rapper yelled out, “All y’all outside the gates, y’all push through.”
The crowd went nuts and stormed the barricades, resulting in at least one injury.
The incident was captured on video:

Tyler was arrested at the airport and later released on $3,500 bond, which was later reportedly raised to $25,000.
The rapper took to Twitter to update his fans about his Dallas show. He wanted to make certain people knew the incident was separate from the fatal drunk driving tragedy.
