Paula Patton and Robin Thicke recently announced their separation, which was followed by public pleas from Robin to “get his wife back”.
Insiders are now saying that Paula is reconsidering the divorce and is “open” to a reconciliation. Bad idea?
Their marriage unraveled after Robin was caught flirting and getting handsy with other women behind Paula’s back.
The couple announced their split on February 24. In their statement they said, “We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time”.
Paula and Robin have kept in contact, but the actress made it clear previously that she wanted a divorce.
It appears Patton has had a change of heart and they are discussing what Thicke needs to do to make their marriage work. We’d guess not making out with other chicks would be a good start.
Paula Patton hasn’t hired a divorce lawyer yet, but hasn’t been impressed with Robin’s on-stage antics. Eyewitnesses spotted him at a strip club after one recent show. His claims don’t appear authentic.
On March 2, 37-year-old Thicke took to the stage at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City and when a fan yelled, “I love Paula!” and he responded with “I do, too!”
He then performed Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together”, before giving a little advice to the audience.
Robin Thicke told the crowd, “Never stop believing and you never stop loving. And even if it is over, make sure you treat each other right. Treat your family right. Take care of your mom, take care of your kids and good things will come to you. Just keep believing that God is good”.
Thicke also addressed his split in Virginia at his show, telling his fans, “For y’all that don’t know, me and my wife separated, but I’m trying to get my girl back.”
It appears Robin finally realized his public pleas weren’t doing the trick and ditched his ring. He also finally stopped the “please take me back Paula” act.
Patton, 38, remained quiet on his public declarations of love for her.
She did take to Twitter with a message, writing, “Everything happens for a reason. If you love something let it go, if it comes back it’s yours, if it doesn’t, it never was, and it’s not meant to be.”
Do you think Paula should take her cheating spouse back? A leopard doesn’t change its spots.
