Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have welcomed their third child.
The singer gave birth on Friday, with Gavin tweeting the rather unusual name choice for their baby boy.
Gavin revealed their son’s name on Saturday, tweeting, “Welcome Apollo Bowie Flynn Rossdale”.
The Bush frontman explained that Bowie is his mother’s maiden name and Flynn is the maiden name of Gwen’s mother.
Gwen, 44, and Gavin, 48, have been married for 11 years and are also parents to Kingston, who is seven, and five-year-old Zuma.
We all were hoping Stefani would have a girl the third time around, but she revealed in January she was expecting a third son.
She posted a photo of herself in a crown, tweeting, “I was ready to hand over the crown. But I guess I am still queen of the house. #itsaboy #surroundedbyboys”.
Gwen Stefani celebrated the upcoming birth with a star-studded baby shower on February 8.
Her pals Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Alba, Rachel Zoe, Nicole Richie and Chelsea Handler were all there to join in the fun at Hotel Bel Air.
Stefani revealed back in 2012 that she’d love to have another baby. She said, “I really, really, really wanted one about two years ago. And it didn’t really work out. So. . . I feel good with what we’ve got. Everything works out how it should. You can’t plan anything, right? You can try.”
Will Gwen go for a fourth and try for a girl? We doubt it!
