Former figure skater Johnny Weir has separated from his husband of two years, Victor Voronov.
The Olympics commentator announced their split Wednesday on Twitter, which comes after their domestic violence case.
Johnny and Victor married two years ago, but their relationship has been on thin ice after Voronov accused Weir of biting him in a police report.
The couple convinced a judge to toss out the domestic dispute case earlier this month, but have since decided to part ways.
Weir wrote on Twitter, “It is with great sadness that I announce that my husband and I are no longer together. My heart hurts and I wish him well”.
The former figure skater, whose commentary during Sochi made the Olympics worth watching, appeared to still be with Voronov when they attended court on March 4.
Voronov, a lawyer, filed a police report about a month before the Olympics claiming Weir bit him.
Weir revealed that Voronov was from a Russian family that grew up in Atlanta.
The figure skater gushed, “We’ve known for a long time and we reconnected over the summer, and it’s just been a whirlwind. He’s wonderful. He’s in the legal field, completely separate from all of my razzle dazzle. He loves watching me perform and seeing what I actually do.”
