Designer L’Wren Scott, the longtime girlfriend of Rolling Stones rocker Mick Jagger, committed suicide last Monday and left everyone with unanswered questions. Mainly, why?
L’Wren was said to want marriage and children with Mick, but new information claims his cheating left her devastated.
A website called “Crazy Days and Nights” posted a blind item on Thursday, March 13 about a celebrity that had “disappeared” and going through heartache after her shorter boyfriend cheated.
The site later updated the post after Scott’s death was confirmed on Monday and revealed that she was the subject.
The post reads, “They used to be inseparable. Now they are not only separated but he is having his way with groupies and celebrities and other people taller than him”.
Mick Jagger’s spokesman immediately denied any claims that the longterm couple had separated as news of her death spread. But was that the reason for her suicide?
She reportedly told a friend that Jagger had “broken her heart” with his cheating ways over the years. He had dumped her numerous times, only to reconcile.
Mick Jagger’s cheating was reportedly the reason his previous two marriages ended.
L’Wren Scott did cancel her London Fashion Week show a few months before her death. At the time, she claimed delayed fabric orders were the reason.
A source had stated, “There are reports she had a breakdown because he was cheating on her. She canceled a huge event she was working on and has retreated into a hospital to get help although some people say she is hiding out at her home with medical professionals”.
The New York Post’s gossip columnist Cindy Adams claims that her friends were aware of her problems, but did nothing to help her.
Adams wrote, “Her stylist friends, fashion friends, p.r. friends, critic friends all say they knew she was hemorrhaging financially. Nobody helped”.
A source close to Jagger said the singer is devastated by L’Wren’s death. We’re certain Mick loved L’Wren, but not enough to put a ring on her finger after two failed marriages.
L’Wren Scott’s body has flown from New York to Los Angeles and will be buried in a quiet “family and close friends only” ceremony in the next few days. Jagger, who called off his Stones tour in Australia in the wake of the tragic suicide, is currently staying in a hotel in Hollywood. Hotel staff claim Mick chosen to dine in his suite and has barely left his room.
