Charlie Sheen is reportedly angering his co-stars by not showing up to the set of his FX show “Anger Management”.
The 48-year-old actor has caused production of the series to come to a grinding halt. What’s going on with Charlie now?
Lionsgate has had to use several doubles in some scenes and filming has been postponed.
There are some cast members considering quitting the show if Sheen can’t be dependable.
Charlie Sheen’s publicist Jeff Ballard denies that the comedy had to use stand-ins and said Charlie is ready to begin shooting immediately.
Ballard said, “We did not shoot last week because another member of the cast was sick. Charlie is always ready, willing and able to shoot Anger Management and looks forward to returning on Monday.”
This isn’t the first time there has been drama on the set of “Anger Management”.
Selma Blair, who co-starred with Charlie on the first season as his love interest, was told she was no longer needed on the show via text sent by Sheen.
The actor doesn’t have the authority to make those decisions, but Sheen knew the show couldn’t continue without him.
Sheen was allegedly upset with Blair after she questioned his work ethic which included constantly arriving on set late.
Sheen denied the reports, explaining, “One of our primary characters, Selma Blair, who played Kate, was written out because [the show] was not about our relationship, and the problem was too many people were still excited about the Two and a Half [Men] character and thinking the Anger Management character was a little dull. Her character leaves, and I start circling the drain. So it’s really fun to watch and hella fun to play.”
What’s going on with Charlie? The actor recently announced his engagement to Scottine Christen (aka Brett Rossi). Are they having problems or is she distracting him from his obligations?
