Sandra Bullock literally choked back tears when she appeared on “The Tonight Show”, where Jay Leno will be leaving after 22 years as the host.
Bullock became emotional as she thanked Jay for always being so kind and good to her. So sweet!
Sandra had tears in her eyes as she thanked Jay Leno.
The 49-year-old beauty said, “I’d like to say something. I’m going to start crying. You’ve always been so kind. That’s saying a lot in this business, because we like to be mean. There’s not been one time you haven’t treated me like I had something to offer – even when the film [I was promoting] was awful and you knew it, you never let me see it in your eyes.”
Bullock adds, “When I made crazy life decisions, you never questioned [them]. You were so welcoming and every single person on your crew was that way consistently. I just felt special, even when I was insecure.”
Jay Leno was touched by her statements and kissed her hand and said, “Well, you are special.”
After their serious moment, Jay had fun showing a little montage of Sandra Bullock’s hairstyles over the years.
Leno said, “You haven’t changed, but your hair has changed”.
Jay’s final episode will air tonight, with guests Billy Crystal and Garth Brooks.
