Robin Thicke seems desperate to reconcile with his wife Paula Patton, dedicating an emotional song to the actress in his first show after they confirmed their split.
Thicke admitted to the crowd they were separated and told the Fairfax, Virginia audience he is “trying to get my girl back”.
Thicke performed an emotional tribute to the actress in his first concert since their split.
The “Blurred Lines” singer said, “For y’all that don’t know me and my wife separated, but I’m trying to get my girl back. She’s a good woman”.
The singer performed “Lost Without U”, admitting he had written the song for his wife.
The song was a sweet gesture, but is it really enough to get her back after all his questionable antics with other women?
Thicke also told TMZ photographers earlier that day that he is “just trying to get her back”.
The father-of-one had canceled three concerts following their split, which the couple announced on Monday.
That same day Paula Pattons’ West Hollywood home was bombarded with huge floral arrangements. Multiple giant bouquets were delivered. Were they from her estranged hubby?
Paula, 38, called time on her marriage last Friday and Robin was unable to persuade her to work things out.
A source says their separation may not lead to a divorce, stating, “Who knows what will happen? They do love each other. They are very good friends and will continue to be as strong and as good friends as they can be. I can truly see them being the best of friends no matter what happens. They still admire each other. She’ll always be his biggest fan and he’ll always write songs about her and put her on a pedestal.”
Paula and Robin have one son together, Julian, who is almost three.
