Peoples Choice Awards 2014

“2 Broke Girls” stars Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs hosted the show’s 40th annual People’s Choice awards ceremony, which aired on Wednesday night.

Sandra Bullock was a big winner of the night and we have the list of all the winners for you. Also, check out the videos of the best moments of the evening!

The winners of this awards show are chosen by fans that cast vote for their favorites in television, movies, and music.

Sandra Bullock picked up three awards for favorite movie actress, dramatic movie actress and comedy movie actress for “Gravity” and “The Heat”.

Bullock stated, “An actor can’t do what they do without hundreds of amazing people working for them and alongside them. I learned so much this year. I got to work with Melissa McCarthy on ‘The Heat.’ … And on ‘Gravity,’ the nicest people in the world would string me up and leave me there, and I still had an amazing time”.

Nina Dobrev & Ian Somerhalder landed the best onscreen chemistry award and delivered a cute acceptance speech.

The former real-life couple star on “Vampire Diaries” together and joked about the awkwardness. Nina laughed, saying, “Good thing it’s not awkward, before adding, “Well, it’s a good thing we have chemistry”. Ian gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Jennifer Hudson was honored at the awards for her philanthropic work helping others. The actress and her sister Julia appeared at the People’s Choice Awards to collect the second annual favorite humanitarian award.

Hudson was presented with the award to honor her work via the Julian D. King Gift Foundation which provides positive experiences for children so that they may in turn become productive and happy adults who’ll support their communities. The foundation was founded after a family tragedy that saw Jennifer’s nephew and Julia’s son, Justin King, shot dead.

Jennifer said, “Thank you for honoring me with the Favorite Humanitarian Award. My sister Julia and I were raised with the belief that helping others was always very important. I am so grateful that the People’s Choice Awards and Walgreens have come together in the same spirit. This spotlight will provide us with the opportunity to share all the amazing work being done by the Julian D. King Gift Foundation for children in the city of Chicago and around the United States”.

Justin Timberlake’s landed three awards at the People’s Choice Awards. Justin picked up three awards including favorite album, favorite male artist and favorite R&B artist. He was beaten in the favorite pop artist category by Britney Spears, who won her first People’s Choice award in her 15 year career.
