Madonna Letting 13-Year-Old Son Rocco Ritchie Drink Alcohol?

Madonna partying with teen son Rocco?

Madonna’s son Rocco Ritchie is only 13-years-old, but his pop star mother posted an Instagram photo of her son holding a bottle of alcohol.

Rocco is pictured with friends as he holds a bottle of 94-proof Bombay Sapphire gin, with the singer captioning the photo, “The party has just begun! Bring it 2014”.

Madonna shared the Instagram snap on Saturday of the teenager, whose father is director Guy Ritchie, with his friends holding up bottles of Belvedere vodka.

In Switzerland where Madonna spent the New Year’s holiday with her four children, the drinking age is 16 for beer, 18 for wine and 21 for liquor.

The photo comes just three days after Rocco shared pictures of himself and his friend Dom Sesto holding what appeared to be glasses of champagne and a photo from a bar with the caption, “faded”.

Madonna previously admitted that she needed to be more of a disciplinarian with her children, especially Lourdes who was caught smoking.

The singer said, “I’m probably not as tough as I should be. I think I need to be maybe tougher. Every day is a negotiation, but cigarette smoking I’m not very fond of, for anyone. I don’t approve of anyone smoking cigarettes, most of all my daughter.”

She adds, “To be a single mother of four and to work as much as I do, with my life in a kind of metaphorical fish bowl, it’s pretty challenging. But so far I’ve survived with sanity and humor intact.”

Madonna is reportedly funding Rocco’s rap career aspirations.

Madonna has been enjoying a lavish snowboarding holiday in Gstaad where they’ve been staying at Valentino’s Chalet Gifferhorn.

The singer, who split with toyboy Brahim Zaibat last month, shared her resolution for 2014, writing, “Darling just f***ing own it.”

Fans have responded to Madonna posting the drinking photos of her son, slamming her for allowing it.

The star replied on Twitter, writing, “No one was drinking we were just having fun! Calm down and get a sense of humor!” She adds, “Don’t start the year off with judgment!”
