Katy Perry recently covered the February issue of GQ magazine, where she revealed that she genuinely believes in extraterrestrial beings.
It made us curious which other Hollywood celebrities believe in UFO’s and aliens. Check them out!
Katy Perry said of aliens, “I believe in a lot of astrology. I believe in aliens. I look up into the stars and I imagine: How self-important are we to think that we are the only life-form?” she questioned. “I mean, if my relationship with Obama gets any better, I’m going to ask him that question. It just hasn’t been appropriate yet.”
We’re curious what President Obama will think about that subject, but the singer certainly isn’t the only one that believes there are other life forms in this big universe.
It’s not a huge surprise that actor Tom Cruise believes in aliens. The “Oblivion” star is basically the poster boy for the Church of Scientology, a group that believes alien souls find their way into human bodies.
Cruise previously stated, “Are you really so arrogant as to believe we are alone in this universe? Millions of stars, and we’re supposed to be the only living creatures? No, there are many things out there, we just don’t know.”
Van Halen rocker Sammy Hagarclaims he hasn’t just spotted a UFO, but was actually visited by little green men. The singer told MTV, “[Aliens] were plugged into me … Looking back now, it was like, F—, they downloaded something into me! Or they uploaded something from my brain, like an experiment.”
Keanu Reeves has starred in several sci-fi films and hasn’t actually spotted a UFO, but is convinced there is other life out there. The “Matrix” star said, “How can it be possible that we are the only beings in the universe? I don’t know if or when we will get to meet them, but it’s absolutely inconceivable that we won’t get to meet them sometime.”
Shirley MacLaine definitely believes in UFOs and aliens. She said UFOs are spotted quite often at her New Mexico ranch.
“I’ve seen a mothership here, and I’ve seen them at my ranch,” she told Oprah during an interview. “One famous day, a friend of mine was sitting in my hot tub out there, and three UFOs came over and hovered over the hot tub for about 10 minutes.”
She went on to say she believes alien activity is common in the area because they are attracted to the crystals in the area.
Former “The Nanny” star Fran Drescher not only believes in little green men, but also claims to have been visited by aliens and having a “chip implanted. She believes she met her former husband because he also shared the same alien visit. She claims they have identical scars in the same location.
“Alien” star Sigourney Weaverpreviously said of life on other planets, “We are not alone in the universe. I think there’s a department in [the US] government which is exclusively dedicated to quashing reports about aliens and that’s so unfair.”
Megan Fox discussed her belief on aliens during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres. The actress said the History Channel’s “Ancient Aliens” opened her eyes to life on other planets.
“Everyone thinks I’m crazy,” Fox said during her interview. “It’s all about the theory that these megalithic structures were possibly built by—not necessarily like little green aliens, but maybe future humans that they call ancient astronauts—that did some sort of time travel. Something extraterrestrial was involved.”
Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger claims he actually saw a UFO shaped like a cigar in 1968 during a camping trip.
“Ghostbusters” star Dan Aykryod actually runs a nonprofit organization called the Mutual UFO Network, which follows extraterrestrial activity.
“Les Miserables” star Russell Crowe was filming fruit bats in the gardens outside his Sydney, Australia office when he caught something crazy on tape.
Crowe tweeted a YouTube video of his sighting with the caption, “UFO? Time Lapse Photos Outside RC’s Woolloomooloo Office (THESE ARE REAL!).”
Do you guys believe in aliens? It’s definitely an interesting subject!
