Justin Bieber’s Model Pal Chantel Jeffries Speaks: Is She A Gold-Digger?

Chantel Jeffries defends herself, but fails

Chantel Jeffries, the pretty bad-girl model that has been hanging with Justin Bieber, has issued a statement in an effort to clear up reports. But sadly, she did nothing of the sort.

Chantel, 21, was accused of lining up a lucrative deal to sell her story (and sell Justin out).

Themodel, who rode shotgun in Justin Bieber’s rented Lamborghini when the singer was arrested for DUI, released a statement on her previous arrests.

Jeffries told E!, “I have been overwhelmed by the negative attention I have recently received in the media. My family and I are particularly upset about the false accusations which have been published concerning my criminal history.”

“For the record, I have not been arrested five times as has been stated in the media, nor am I guilty of physically assaulting anyone, in any way shape or form,” she adds. “I am a full-time student who had enjoyed a normal lifestyle, free from public scrutiny and criticism, until now. What has happened to me is wrong. I want people in general, and the media in particular, to consider the impact their disparaging comments have on the individual; especially when their comments are inaccurate.”

Chantel Jeffries has a rap sheet

Chantel didn’t actually deny the arrests and may not be aware that it’s a matter of public record.

Chantel Jeffries’ rap sheet lists five arrests, including one in Feb. 2011 for misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon.

The model reportedly stabbed another woman in the left forearm “during a physical altercation”. The victim “did not want to proceed with the matter” and the charge was dropped.

Jeffries recently jetted off to Panama with Bieber, 19, after he was released from jail.

She was in talks to appear on NBC’s “Today” earlier in the week, she confirmed via Twitter, to “talk not about Justin, about false allegations against me only.” That interview never happened.

Jeffries was also accused of trying to earn $20,000 another TV tell-all, spilling details on the teen singer.

Chantel Jeffries a bad influence?

Of course, Chantel denied the claims, tweeting, “I would never sell my story. It’s a hard thing, knowing who to truly trust.”

We’re not saying she’s a gold digger, but she ain’t messin’ with no broke “wigger”.
