It doesn’t look like Justin Bieber will have an enjoyable Valentine’s Day this year, after reports he is scheduled to be arraigned in Miami that day.
Bieber has been living it up without a care in Panama with model Chantel Jeffries, but reality will set in soon.
A source revealed that “Justin will be arraigned on February 14 at 9 am. He will have to meet with judge William Altfield. There is already a courtroom assigned to his case.”
Justinwas arrested early Thursday morning last week in the Miami Beach area after hitting up a club with his father Jeremy, 38, rapper Khalil Sharief, and model Chantel, 21.
Police noticed Bieber in his rented yellow Lamborghini as he prepared to drag race with Khalil, who was driving a Ferrari.
The singer was pulled over by an officer, dropping several F-bombs after being asked to get out of his car and put his hands on his vehicle.
The police officer noted in his report that he smelled alcohol on Bieber.
Justin admitted he had only one beer and the BAC level he was tested at came back at only .014, not the original .04 he was believed to have blown.
Justin Bieber admitted smoking marijuana and taking prescription pills, which could have hindered his ability to operate a vehicle.
The 19-year-old singer has been hanging out with Wilhemina model Chantel, who insiders reveal was planning to sell her story to the media about being with Justin the night of his arrest.
The model was looking to get five figures for her exclusive story, but she bowed out of any negotiations after Justin whisked her off to Panama.
An insider said, “She hired an attorney and was negotiating a deal with the weekly magazines and the big TV shows. She wanted $20,000 plus a guaranteed mention of her modeling career.”
Today Lucian Grainge, the CEO of Universal Music Group, Bieber’s label, said during a Grammy party that the teen star “needs an intervention”.
Grainge said, “I’m very concerned about him – I’ve been concerned about him for many months, and [Bieber’s manager] Scooter, who I work with very closely… is with him at the moment. Hopefully, we will all get through to him…. All of us around him need to take all the responsibility, all the pressure off him and give him support so he can address the issues he has – and he does have issues. And I’d like it to be dealt with.”
It appears Justin’s Valentine’s Day won’t be enjoyable this year, but we’re certain his diehard fans, Beliebers, will show him some love.
