Alyssa Milano is a gorgeous and petite actress, but was recently attacked over her weight by comedian Jay Mohr.
Milano obviously heard about a radio interview by Jay, where he talked about her gaining weight after having her baby. Very rude!
The Fox talk show host made the disparaging remarks after he and Alyssa Milano attended the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series awards show in Las Vegas earlier this month. Jay hosted the event and Alyssa was a presenter.
After the ceremony, Jay told a radio show, “Alyssa’s very tiny — in height – [but] it seems like she had a baby and said, “I don’t really give a s**t” – I read it on her gut”.
He also called her Melissa Milano, before adding, “Somebody sat in the director’s chair and was not wearing Spanx and I was like, ‘Jesus Christ'”.
The former “Who’s The Boss” actress, who gave birth to son Milo in August 2011, responded with a tweet on Christmas Day.
Alyssa Milano tweeted, “@jaymohr37 So sorry you felt the need to publicly fat-shame me. Be well and God Bless. Please send my love to your beautiful wife.”
Alyssa was referring to actress Nikki Cox, who Jay married in 2006. The couple have a daughter together. Jay’s wife Nikki is certainly not a natural beauty.
Milano received a slew of support after posting the tweet, and she thanked her more than 2.6 million followers later that day. She tweeted, “You’re all lovely. Thank you for your kind words. #Appreciative”.
Alyssa’s former “Charmed” co-star Rose McGowan also responded, retweeting Alyssa’s message before adding, “What?! Do I need to kick someone’s ass?”
Jay Mohr found fame on “Saturday Night Live” in the early Nineties before going on to star in movie including “Jerry Maguire”.
He now hosts Jay Mohr Sports, a midday sports radio talk show on Fox.
