Kate Winslet and her husband Ned Rocknroll have welcomed a baby boy.
The actress gave birth to her son on Monday at a London hospital. This is the first child for Ned and the third for Kate.
The newborn son makes the third child for Kate. He will join daughter Mia, 13, and Joe, nine, from Kate’s first two marriages.
The bundle of joy is the first child for Rocknroll, the 35-year-old nephew of Virgin tycoon Richard Branson.
Winslet met Rocknroll while on vacation on Necker Island, where they later secretly married after a whirlwind romance.
Ned Rocknroll, who was born Ned Abel Smith, works on the space-travel branch of the Virgin empire owned by uncle.
“Titanic” actress Kate Winslet kept her last name when she tied the knot (who would blame her), saying, “I was never going to change my name to Rocknroll. I’ve never changed my name to anything so I didn’t see a reason to start now.”
Winslet recently spoke about the pregnancy, stating, “I feel completely great. Being a parent turns you inside out. It completely transforms your life and, of course, your children are your absolute everything.”
Kate was previously married to Jim Threapleton, the father of Mia, and Sam Mendes, with whom she had her son Joe.
