Claire Coffee, who is known for playing the naughty Adalind on the NBC series “Grimm”, married Punch Brothers singer Chris Thile in Tennessee.
The 33-year-old actress tied the knot at the gorgeous Blackberry Farm in Tennessee, the same picturesque place Kelly Clarkson married Brandon Blackstock in October.
Claire looked just beautiful in a lace 1937 gown from bridal boutique Xtabay in Portland, Oregon. Her veil featured a lace Juliet cap with a lovely tulle train.
The intimate ceremony took place at Blackberry Farm with only 20 guests in attendance and Claire’s younger sister, Abbie, officiating the wedding.
Claire and Chris made the ceremony even more personal by writing their own vows. So romantic!
Most of the guests were family members, except for Bon Iver band member Rob Moose, who played a Bach song as Claire walked down the aisle.
The actress took to Twitter to post photos of her wedding, writing, “Blackberry Farm. #hitched.”
“Merry Christmas, y’all,” she captioned another picture in which she and her new groom are shown snuggling next to the Christmas tree.
Claire and Chris, who dated for two-and-a-half years after being set up by mutual friends, picked the beautiful spot. She said, “It’s our favorite place to vacation and one of the best places on earth”.
Coffee explained, “We wanted something intimate and earthy, with kick-ass food and wine, and it doesn’t get much better than Blackberry where those things are concerned.”
Claire can currently be seen as the Hexenbiest on the NBC series “Grimm”, but she has also been seen on “Franklin & Bash”, “General Hospital” and “The West Wing”.
