Dot-Marie Jones has tied the knot!
The 49-year-old actress, who plays gym teacher Shannon Beiste on the Fox drama, married her long-term partner on Saturday night at their home.
Jones invited her friends and family to a holiday party, which actually turned out to be their wedding.
Guests arrived and were informed they would be witnessing their nuptials. Bridgett has now changed her surname to Jones on her Instagram and Twitter pages.
The pair’s secret wedding comes after they recently celebrated their anniversary, with Bridgett sharing the picture of the couple and writing, “Happy Anniversary to this amazing woman! I love you beyond words! @dotmariejones.”
Dot-Marie popped the question while the couple were attending Gay Days at Disneyland in Anaheim, California in early October.
It was near the resort’s Sleeping Beauty Castle that Dot-Marie proposed and Bridgett accepted, and the actress didn’t wait long before proudly announcing the news.
Dot-Marie Jones said, “It’s the happiest day of my life. I never thought I’d find somebody that is so loving and kind. Thank you @dotmariejones for making me the happiest woman in the world”.
This was Dot-Marie’s first trip down the aisle, but the second marriage for Bridgett, who has two daughters from her previous marriage.
