Elizabeth Hurley and Shane Warne have reportedly decided to call time on their relationship following months of speculation.
The couple have called of their engagement and appear they are over for good!
A source told Hello! magazine, “It is very sad and they tried to make it work but there were just too many issues in the way. Elizabeth is taking it one day at a time. She will always be extremely fond of Shane.”
The couple’s split was not due to their work commitments, which leads you to believe Shane may have been cheating again.
The couple will now be spending Christmas apart, with Elizabeth, 48, being with her 11-year-old son Damian at Donnington Hall in Herefordshire, the home she and Shane had bought together.
The Australian former Test cricketer, 44, will be in his family home Down Under with his three children.
The couple appeared to be back on track in early November after a rumored split. But there soon were hints things weren’t going too well.
Elizabeth took to Twitter, writing that “recent events” were “too raw and personal to share right now”.
Shane also took to social media to state, “Yes, we’re sorting through some (private) issues. But we’re not throwing the towel in yet.”
The couple got engaged in 2011 after dating for a year, with many blaming Elizabeth Hurley for breaking up Warne’s former marriage. You know the old adage, you lose them the way you get them. Seems to ring true in this case!
