Prevention.com reports that taking apple cider vinegar before a meal may help lower your blood sugar. Study participants who drank a tablespoon of ACV mixed with 8 ounces of water prior to eating had lower blood glucose levels compared to participants who didn’t consume solution. Author Carold Johnston, PhD stated, “Acetic acid, the main component in vinegar, may interfere with the body’s ability to digest starch”. That starch-blocking power can lead to shedding weight over time.
We all know actress Gwyneth Paltrow sticks to her workout regime under celebrity personal trainer Tracy Anderson. Gwyneth drinks two liters of water per day and has regular colonics to keep slim and trim.
British actress Elizabeth Hurley claims she dropped ten pounds in just seven days by enjoying watercress soup. The soup consists of onions, chicken stock, three large bunches of watercress, and salt an pepper. Hurley said, “I drink at least six cups a day when I am eager to lose a few pounds”.
