Amanda Bynes Released From Rehab Into Mother’s Care!

Amanda Bynes discharged from rehab

Amanda Bynes, who had a very public meltdown before being hospitalized for a mental illness, has been treated for schizophrenia and bi-polar disorder.

Bynes has now been discharged from the rehab facility in Malibu into the care of her mother.

The troubled former Nickelodeon star had been behaving oddly for nearly a year. She dissed people, mainly other celebrities, on Twitter and began physically changing her looks.

The former child star had everyone confused as to her actions, until her arrest for starting a fire in July that landed her on a psychiatric hold.

Around that time details began trickling out that Amanda was suffering from a severe mental illness. She was treated at UCLA hospital, before later being transferred to The Canyon rehab facility in Malibu.

Bynes had been receiving treatment there for several months before her departure was approved.

The family’s attorney Tamar Arminak issued a statement saying, “Amanda and her entire family would like to thank everyone who’s contacted them with good thoughts and wishes for Amanda’s recovery. Amanda has completed her inpatient rehabilitation and she’s feeling better every day”.

Amanda Bynes is looking forward to a new beginning and wants to attend a fashion school and have her own designer line.

Arminak said, “She’s now looking at various colleges with the intention of majoring in fashion design. She’s mentioned before she’s interested in creating a clothing line. Despite the fact Amanda is no longer in a facility, her outpatient treatment is continuing. She’s very happy to reestablish the loving relationship with her family that she once shared.”

Under the terms of her conservatorship, Amanda’s mother Lynn will remain in indefinite control over her daughter’s well-being and finances.

We all wish Amanda Bynes the best!
