The actor is shown in an “alternate ending” to the hit show, where he plays Hal from “Malcolm In The Middle” having a nightmare.
The scene shows Bryan as Hal in “Malcolm In The Middle”, waking up from a scary nightmare.
Cranston, 57, is joined by his former television wife Lois, played by Jane Kaczmarek, who plays Lois and is seen in bed with him.
Hal wakes Lois to tell her he just “had the scariest dream”. Of course Lois shoots back, “I told you not to eat those deep fried Twinkies.”
He replies, “You don’t understand. I was this meth dealer. Yeah. I was this world class chemist and I cooked and I sold this ultra-pure methamphetamine.”
Hal starts getting emotional as he recalls, “There was a guy who never spoke. He just rang a bell the whole time. And there was this other guy who was a policeman or – a DEA agent and I think he was my brother or something. He looked the guy from The Shield!”
Bryan Cranston as Hal then says of Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), “And then there was this other little guy – a waif, a man child kid – who always looked like he was wearing his older brother’s clothes. He would always say things like ‘Hey, bit*h’. The b-word. He would use the b-word a lot, he would say, ‘Yo, b-word,’ and ‘Yay, science b-word.'”
Hal adds, “And then there was me, and I had a shaved head. And a goatee and I wore a black hat. And the only thing that made sense in the whole dream is I still walked around in my underwear.”
Lois says of the bad dream, “If you think that this nightmare is going to keep you from driving the kids to school this morning, you have another thing coming.”
Lois isn’t exactly comforting Hal, adding, “I knew this was going to happen. You grow a beard and suddenly you think you’re Osama Bin Laden. Wasn’t I there to tell you to knock it off?”
“No, some other woman did that,” Hal replies. “Ooh right, I was married to this tall beautiful blonde.”
Lois kisses him goodnight adding, “Yeah, well keep dreaming pal. OK, go to sleep Scarface.”
The hilarious clip comes following jokes that “Breaking Bad” could have been a prequel to “Malcolm In The Middle”, before Walt entered the witness protection program and became Hal.
The alternate “Breaking Bad” ending was reportedly filmed when Jane visited the set in January, which will allegedly be part of the complete series box set that releases on November 26.
