Adam Levine is reportedly tipped to be named People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive next week.
But the Maroon 5 singer is remaining tight-lipped about the rumors, refusing to confirm or deny the reports on the “Today Show”.
The 34-year-old singer sat down for an interview with Savannah Guthrie on the NBC show on Friday.
Guthrie brought up the rumor, with Adam Levine joking, “I don’t believe you. It’s an interesting idea.”
The singer has appeared in the Sexiest Man Alive issue but hasn’t yet been number one on the list. This year’s pick will be announced by the publication on November 20.
Last year’s pick was actor Channing Tatum, preceded by Bradley Cooper in 2011.
“The Voice” judge also touched on his wedding plans to model Behati Prinsloo. The couple, who became engaged in July of 2013, haven’t actually set a wedding date.
Levine stated, “We have an “ish” time but no actual date. We’re getting there.”
Adam Levine also talked about rumored tensions “The Voice” judges, explaining they just have a friendly competition.
He said, “We never really got irritated with each other. It was more kind of like, we get competitive. We’re all competitive, but it’s all in a friendly way. There’s no actual animosity”.
He adds, “No, I’m not fighting with Blake. We’re friends. It’s all good. We’re just messing with each other to that degree because we’re so close.”
The hunky singer also talked about his first movie role, starring with Keira Knightley in “Can A Song Save Your Life”.
Adam said of doing the movie, “That was a blast, I had so much fun doing that”.
