Actress Ashley Judd and race car driver Dario Franchitti had split after eleven years of marriage in January, but have decided to give their relationship another shot after his scary car crash.
Ashley rushed to her husband’s side after he fractured two vertebrae and broke his ankle in a horrific crash in the Grand Prix of Houston earlier this month.
The trauma of seeing her husband at the Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center made the actress have a change of heart about their sp lit.
An insider said, “They are going to give it another try after he recovers. His accident made her realise how much she loves him.”
Dario, 40, also suffered a concussion in the accident, which also left 13 fans and an IndyCar Series official injured by flying debris.
Ashley Judd and Dario took to Twitter to thank their fans for their prayers and well-wishes after his car crash.
The actress tweeted, “Thank you for the prayers for Dario, I have only clothes on my back & the dogs but that’s all that we need & we are on our way. Amazed by the incredible outpouring of care & prayers. Thanks, everyone. Keeping our heads down here & doing what’s in front of us to do.”
Dario Franchitti, a four time IndyCar Series champion from Scotland, also thanked his fans. Dario tweeted, “Thank you to everyone for all the well wishes. They mean a lot to me. I would also like to send my best to all the fans involved in the accident and hope that everyone is alright.”
