Alec Baldwin is known for his explosive temper and his latest tongue-lashing victim is millionaire investor Arpad Busson. Why you ask? Arpad referred to Alec as a “tv actor”. Heavens forbid!
The “30 Rock” star had some unkind words for Busson, who recently announced a move into movie producing, calling him a “pockmarked toady”.
Alec Baldwin said in an interview with TV Guide, “He’s a pockmarked toady who hops from yacht to yacht and bed to bed. So when some bloated little toad like Busson labels me a certain way, I say to myself, ‘Consider the source.’ If movie stardom meant being trapped on a yacht with Busson, I’d rather be a weatherman for Ch. 4 in New York.”
Baldwin apparently crossed paths with Arpad Busson, Uma Thurman’s baby-daddy, in Cannes earlier this year.
Baldwin, 55, who is launching his own MSNBC talk show, used the interview as an opportunity to air his grievances against Hollywood movie bosses, saying that they were clueless when it came to making movies.
The actor stated, “They’re all factotums of multilateral corporations. It’s all money, money, money.”
One person Baldwin gave props to was Steven Spielberg, saying, “He doesn’t have to go to one of the douchebags from Warner Bros. and explain to them why his movie is marketable.”
The very outspoken Baldwin has been given his own Friday night talk show called “Up Late With Alec Baldwin”. So that should be interesting.
The rant is the latest from Baldwin, who recently welcomed daughter Carmen with his wife Hilaria Thomas. He also has a 17-year-old daughter Ireland with his ex-wife Kim Basinger. You remember her…the “little pig”.
