Zac Efron's drug treatment

Most of us think of Zac Efron as the blue-eyed squeaky clean star of “High School Musical”, but new reports state the handsome actor secretly completed rehab several months ago.

The 25-year-old actor checked into a treatment center to get help for his cocaine addiction, with sources adding he also was doing Ecstasy aka “Molly”.

Efron is now said to be happy and healthy and focused on his movie career.

An insider said, “He’s healthy, happy and not drinking. He’s taking time to focus on working. He’s doing great. He’s taking care of himself and it shows.”

Zac Efron’s drug problem reportedly was an issue while filming his movie “Neighbors”, alongside Seth Rogen.

Insiders revealed Zac was sometimes a no-show on the set for several days. A source revealed, “It was common knowledge he was struggling with cocaine.”

Zac Efron hasn’t commented on the rehab reports.

The news of his rehab stint will shock Zac’s fans because he has appeared to steer clear of the party scene.

The handsome star can be seen in the movie “Parkland”, which is about the time of President Kennedy’s death in Dallas in 1963.

Efron will play the role of Jim Carrico, the doctor that tried to save the life of JFK at Parkland Hospital after the shooting.
