Andy Samberg found fame for his hilarious antics on “Saturday Night Live” and as part of the comedic team “The Lonely Island Boys”.
Now the funnyman is a married man after he tied the knot with singer Joanna Newsom on Saturday.
The actor, who recently landed a new show on Fox called “Brooklyn Nine Nine”, married his longtime girlfriend at the Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur, California over the weekend.
Andy Samberg and Joanna Newsom became engaged in February after meeting through mutual friends five years ago.
A friend of Andy’s said last year, “He liked her music and would go to her shows. He had the biggest crush on her”.
Apparently Joanna felt the same. Her friend revealed, “She respects what he does with his songs. She’s so proud of everything that he has accomplished”.
Andy sadly left the cast of “Saturday Night Live” last year but has been busy with his film career and new television project.
His new show “Brooklyn Nine-Nine is a workplace comedy set at an NYC police precinct. The show was created by the “Parks and Recreation” team Mike Schur and Dan Goor.
