Lisa Robin Kelly, who played the sexy older sister of Eric Forman on “That 70s Show”, has died at the age of 43.
Kelly, who has battled drug and alcohol problems, died in her sleep on Wednesday night at a rehab facility in California.
Lisa Robin Kelly had voluntarily checked herself into rehab this week to help herself with her alcohol problems.
Her agent stated, “She had been fighting demons for a while and finally lost her battle.”
Sources reveal the former actress had been in rehab centers for years dealing with her addiction, but fell off the wagon again recently after a huge fight with her estranged husband.
Kelly’s soon-to-be ex, Robert Gilliam, beat her up last May in an effort to obtain residual money from her show. Gilliam was convicted of domestic battery last month received 3 years probation.
Lisa filed for divorce from Gilliam back in July.
Kelly’s new boyfriend brought her to rehab on Monday, but the actress went into cardiac arrest last night and passed away.
Insiders reveal emergency responders arrived at the rehab facility, where they found needle marks on both of Lisa’s arms.
Her boyfriend said the reason for the needle marks is because he took Lisa to the hospital on Sunday with a .34 blood alcohol level. Nurses made several attempts to draw blood and finally used a vein on the top of her wrist.
