We find ourselves very curious about the lives of Hollywood celebrities, but some of these interesting tidbits we’ve never heard before!
Check out some of these cool facts we dug up!
Long before playing the dad on “Malcolm in the Middle” or the awesome Walter White on “Breaking Bad”, Bryan Cranston played two different villains in 1993 in “Power Rangers”.
Cranston voiced both Snizard and Twinman on “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.” He did two episodes in 1993, “Foul Play in the Sky” and “A Bad Reflection of You”.
Leno dug up the tape to embarrass Cranston:
Cranston also revealed, “Someone once told me they named the blue Power Ranger after me. His last name was Cranston. I found out years later that was true.”
Robert Downey Jr. has been open about his past issues with drug use and alcohol.
He told Empire magazine that things came to a head in 2003 at a Burger King. Downey said he pulled into a Burger King parking lot with his car loaded with “f**king dope”. He decided to go in and order a burger and suddenly his life changed.
“I have to thank Burger King,” he tells the magazine. “It was such a disgusting burger I ordered. I had that, and this big soda, and I thought, ‘Something really bad is going to happen.”
The odd feeling the actor had prompted him to drive to the ocean and dump all the drugs he had into the water.
Downey returned to his Burger King experience in “Iron Man” when he orders a Burger King hamburger after being released from his captors. He says he wanted that included as a tribute to his life-changing moment.
Adorable Jennifer Lawrence learned how to skin squirrels for her role in the film “Winter’s Bone”.
Lawrence told Rolling Stone that the scene was completely real. She adds, “I should say it wasn’t real, for PETA. But screw PETA.”
Here’s the video (pretty gross so be warned):
Cute actress Rachel Bilson always seems so sweet and innocent, but her mother Janice is actually a sex therapist.
In fact, she said her mom knew when she lost her virginity. She chatted with Chelsea Handler about her mom on “Chelsea Lately”.
“Pitch Perfect” star Rebel Wilson was in South Africa before becoming an actress when she contracted malaria.
Rebel started hallucinating and thought she was an Oscar-winning actress. She said this is what prompted her to pursue an acting career.
Here’s a cute interview by director Judd Apatow’s teen daughter with Rebel Wilson:
Actress Emily Blunt, who is married to former “Office” star John Krasinski, had a stutter as a child that she didn’t overcome until she got into acting.
Blunt said, “I’d try to push the words out, but it was frustrating. My parents took me to speech coaches and relaxation coaches. It didn’t work. Then one of my teachers at school had a brilliant idea and said, ‘Why don’t you speak in an accent in our school play?’ I distanced myself from me through this character, and it was so freeing that my stuttering stopped when I was onstage'”.
“Batman” star Christian Bale apparently had a unique upbringing. His mother was a circus clown and his first kiss was with an acrobat named Barta.
Liev Schreiber had a very interesting childhood.
Liev’s mother Heather had mental problems and was in-and-out of mental institutions. His father, Tell, threatened to commit her again and she left with her son. His father kidnapped from a New York commune when he was three. His parents divorced when he was five and the mother obtained custody. His mother drove a cab and made paper mache puppets.
Jennifer Garner had a very conservative childhood and wasn’t allowed to wear make-up or a bikini until she was 16. The actress joked that her family was “just a step away from being Amish.”
Brad Pitt is apparently too hot for Malaysia!
The hunky actor starred in their Toyota commercials which were banned in Malaysia after the country’s deputy information minister said the actor’s handsome appearance may make Malaysian countrymen feel inferior. “Why must we use their faces in our advertisements?” asked Zainuddin Maidin. “Aren’t our own people handsome enough?”
Sexy singer Rihanna was actually an army cadet that trained with the Barbadian military. To top this off, singer Shontelle was actually her drill sergeant.
Some of these were pretty interesting huh? Who knew?
