Kristen Stewart is a hot commodity in Hollywood, even though her behavior off-screen isn’t very popular.
But Kristen has decided to better herself by enrolling into college at UCLA to study for an English Literature degree. Good for her!
The 23-year-old actress is giving thought to live after her movie career and has an interest in literature.
Stewart will continue her film commitments while going seeking her degree.
A source revealed, “Kristen’s a Tinseltown actress worth millions but she is already considering a life after film. She never got to complete college and she wants to get a proper education. She is a voracious reader and cannot wait to get going on her correspondence course. It won’t be easy and it will mean putting in some fairly strenuous hours. But once she’s graduated, Kristen will be able to do almost anything she wants, in or out of Hollywood”.
UCLA reportedly offers excellent English courses, despite not being an Ivy League college such as Harvard, Yale, Brown, Columbia, or Princeton.
Kristen Stewart previously stated she felt she didn’t get a very good education.
She said in an interview with British GQ magazine, “I was feeling a little self-conscious about the acting thing with my peers, but also my teachers became a problem. They didn’t want to do the extra work or put packages together so I could keep up while away.
“My teachers failed me. not one, but all of them. I’m always slightly ashamed in a way about what I do. I’m slightly embarrassed as I had such serious ambitions when I was younger, I just never imagined that I would ever have a reason not to go to school. But then this happened”.
Kristen is currently filming her latest movie “Camp X-Ray”, which is about a young army recruit who is sent to work at the Guantanamo Bay detention camp.
