There are new details coming out on the tragic death of former “Bachelor” contestant Gia Allemand.
She committed suicide while on the phone to her mother, following a nasty spat with her boyfriend Ryan Anderson.
The 29-year-old reality star committed suicide at her New Orleans home last week.
Gia’s mother Donna Micheletti told police she was talking to her daughter on the phone when the phone “went silent”. Micheletti tried to talk to her daughter for another ten minutes.
Allemand’s boyfriend, NBA star Ryan Anderson, went home to check on Gia and found her lifeless body. She had been without oxygen for around 30 to 40 minutes.
New reports reveal Gia had accused Ryan of cheating on her during their lunch date the day she died.
On their car ride back to their New Orleans home, Ryan told Gia, “I don’t love you anymore”.
Insiders reveal Gia Allemand left a suicide note on the dining room table, leaving all of her property to her mother.
She was taken to hospital and put on life support before dying days later.
Gia’s father Eugene Allemand revealed that he and his daughter fought before her death and found out about her death from reporters.
Eugene stated, “I was as shocked as anybody. I didn’t see this coming.
“We had a fight on Mother’s Day and I said some things that I regret. I wish I could take them back, but it’s too late. If she were still here, I would I would tell her I’m so sorry and that I love her and that she will always be my rainbow”.
He said he got into it with his daughter because she didn’t send his mother a Mother’s Day card.
“I said don’t bother calling me on Father’s Day”, Allemand said. “It was lots of nasty things said in the heat of the moment”.
