Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital on June 5 after allegedly trying to commit suicide.
Paris Jackson, 15, was taken out on stretcher at around 2 a.m. Wednesday morning after cutting her wrists.
Paris Jackson had been tweeting some unusual messages including, “I wonder why tears are so salty?” and quoting a Beatles song writing, “yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they’re here to stay.”
The 911 call came in at 1:27 a.m. and the caller told the dispatcher that Paris Jackson had slit her wrists.
Her mother Debbie Rowe is understood to have confirmed the reports to Entertainment Tonight and said the 15-year-old is currently at a Los Angeles hospital.
A lawyer for Katherine Jackson, Paris’ grandmother, also appeared to confirm the suicide bid.
‘She’s suffered with the loss of her father,’ the lawyer told the New York Daily News. ‘But we don’t know what she was exposed to that precipitated this.’
Paris has appeared to be very strong, but has obviously been put through way too much with her father Michael jackson’s wrongful death lawsuit opening up last month.
The trial has brought up plenty of hurtful claims, like one alleging that only one of Michael’s children are biologically his. Paris has had to testify on behalf of her deceased father, stating that AEG should be held accountable for his death.
A source said after her first day of deposition, “Paris will have to sit for another day of questioning but she is okay with that – she is an extremely intelligent, compassionate and thoughtful young lady.”
It looks like Paris was hurting more than she was showing to the world.
A source close to the family said that Paris Jackson has “tried this [a possible suicide attempt] in the past” but “this was far more serious. It was not a cry for help.”
