Kristen Bell is suing the owners of a Los Angeles tequila bar for breach of contract.
The “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” actress filed the lawsuit against the Meridian Restaurant group on Friday after investing $20,000 into the company’s bar L’Scorpion in July 2005.
The 32-year-old actress, along with four other investors in the bar, claims the owners never paid them their five per cent of profits.
L’Scorpion, the bar known for its 200 varieties of authentic Mexican tequilas, has taken in at least $30,000 a month since their opening in 2006, but the plaintiffs claim they never received their share.
Kristen Bell is currently expecting her first child this spring with her fiance Dax Shepard.
The couple, who starred together in the movie “Hit and Run”, started dating in 2007 and have been engaged for several years.
Bell made an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres” show last week, where she joked about her birthing plans.
Bell said she was definitely not going all natural, saying, “I’ve got nothing to prove. No way. I feel like when I arrive at the hospital I want a glass of whiskey, I want the epidural in my back. And I want to get hit in the face with a baseball bat and wake me up when it’s over because I’ve seen the videos and it looks terrifying.”
Kristen will be featured in the comedy movie “Movie 43” and in the comedy “Dance of the Mirlitons”.
