Steven Tyler has called off his year-long engagement to model Erin Brady.
The 64-year-old rocker’s romance is over for good this time around, after previously denying they had split in October 2012.
Steven Tyler has called it quits with his fiance and the wedding is off.
A source revealed, “It’s over for good this time… They’re still friendly but they’re going their own ways. The engagement is off.”
Steven and Erin began dating in 2006 and the Aerosmith rocker proposed to the 38-year-old brunette beauty on Christmas Day in 2011 while they were enjoying a vacation in Hawaii. The couple had dated five years before becoming engaged.
The singer, who has been married twice and has four children, is ready to focus on his “Global Warming Tour” after they release their first album in 11 years.
Tyler rejoined his bandmates last year after overcoming his substance abuse problems. It appears his relationship with Erin took a back seat in his life.
One insider claims Erin had a Yoko Ono-type influence on the band. Other sources claim there were worries Erin’s hard-partying ways would make Steven fall off the wagon again.
Erin Brady previously stated that she told Tyler when they first started dating that she wouldn’t tolerate bad behavior by the rocker.
Brady stated, “I just said, ‘Hey listen, if you play, I’m gonna play.’ He didn’t really like it when he was on the other side of that scenario.”
Brady, who is 25 years his junior, would have been his third wife.
