There are quite a few of us that enjoy our guilty pleasures such as silly reality shows like “Honey Boo Boo”.
Little did we know that a possible Honey Boo Boo sighting could actually cause a car crash, especially for an actress such as Jennifer Lawrence.
“Hunger Games” star Jennifer Lawrence made the funny confession as she visited Jay Leno on the “Tonight Show” last night.
Lawrence, 22, admits she recently rear-ended a family in Georgia because she thought she spotted Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson in a parade.
Lawrence explains, “It was a breast cancer parade, and so people were wearing, now I know, it said ‘Boobs’ on the (insignia). But I thought it was saying ‘Boo Boo,'” the “Hunger Games” and “Silver Linings Playbook” actress told the host Jay Leno.
“And so I was like, well, does that mean there’s Honey Boo Boo? And so I started craning my neck, and then I saw a little girl, and I was like, ‘It’s Honey Boo Boo!’ she explained.
“And I’m still driving. And then I rear-ended the person in front of me and then had to get out of the car and explain what happened,” she said sheepishly. “I was like, ‘I’m sorry that I hit your family. I thought I saw Honey Boo Boo.'”
Jennifer Lawrence had been filming the “Hunger Games” sequel “Catching Fire” in the Atlanta area and Honey Boo Boo lives in the area so it was quite possible she could have been in a local parade.
Lawrence, who is dating 22-year-old English actor Nicholas Hoult, said she enjoys watching any television show that makes her feel good about herself.
