Before They Were Famous…Celebrities That Had Interesting Jobs

Life wasn’t always glamorous for some of Hollywood’s biggest stars. Most did regular jobs before they became famous to pay their bills just like the rest of us!

Let’s take a look at some of the more interesting pre-fame jobs of the stars!

Gwen Stefani worked at her local Dairy Queen in her hometown of Orange County, California while she was a senior in high school. Her older brother Eric formed the band No Doubt, which Gwen joined as the singer. And the rest is history!

“Magic Mike” hunk Matthew McConaughey had a very unglamorous job shoving chicken shit out of the coops.

Before Clint Eastwood landed “Dirty Harry” roles and uttered the phrase, “Go ahead, make my day”, he was installing swimming pools for a living.

Patrick Dempsey was a juggler and even placed in national competitions before going on to star as Dr. McDreamy on “Grey’s Anatomy”.

Quirky actor Johnny Depp sold pens over the phone when he first arrived to Los Angeles and began his acting career.

Angelina Jolie’s beau Brad Pitt actually dressed up in a chicken suit and danced around on the side of the road for a local Mexican restaurant. Seriously!

Rocker Ozzy Osbourne actually worked in a slaughterhouse before finding fame with Black Sabbath. Hmmm… now the whole biting the head off of a dove incident makes more sense!

“X-Men” star Hugh Jackman, who plays the role of Wolverine in the film, used to work as a clown for children’s birthday parties for a whopping $50 per event.

Brunette beauty Eva Mendes, who is currently dating Ryan Gosling, worked at “Hot Dog on a Stick” at the Glendale Galleria Mall in California before she landed her first acting role in “Children of the Corn V”.

The coolest pre-fame job has to be Christopher Walken! He worked as a lion tamer in a circus when he was a teenager. He then trained as a dancer before moving into acting.
