Rapper Nelly Detained At Texas Border After Heroin, Weed, & Loaded Gun Found!

Rapper Nelly, whose real name is Cornell Iral Haynes, Jr., was detained last night at a checkpoint in Texas after drug dogs alerted authorities to drugs on the tour bus.

At about 8 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 10, a 2007 Black Prevost Tour Bus belonging to Nelly, was traveling eastbound on I-10 when it approached the U.S. Border Patrol Checkpoint.

Police officers did a search of Nelly’s tour bus and discovered heroin, a large amount of marijuana, and a loaded pistol.

Law enforcement sources that assisted in the search at the border patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, reveal they recovered thirty-six baggies of heroin, ten pounds of marijuana, and a loaded .45 caliber pistol.

All seven of the people riding on the tour bus at the time, including Nelly, were all detained during the drug search.

After the drugs were found, one of the passengers on the bus, Brian Keith Jones, came forward to admit the drugs and gun belonged to him.

Jones was placed under arrest and everyone else was released.

This border patrol check point at Sierra Blanca is the same spot where many celebrities have been busted including Fiona Apple, Snoop Dogg and Willie Nelson have been arrested for drugs over the past few years.
