“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Adrienne Maloof filed for divorce from her husband Dr. Paul Nassif today.
The cosmetic surgeon responded by filing his own divorce petition in Los Angeles with both citing irreconcilable differences.
Dr. Nassif originally filed for legal separation in July after nine years of marriage, but the couple reportedly attempted to reconcile.
Nassif wants joint custody of their three sons together – Gavin, 9, and six-year-old twins Colin and Christian.
But, inside sources report that the 50-year-old reality star wants full custody of the kids.
The couple have a pre-nuptial agreement that should protect Adrienne’s $300 million dollar fortune. She is the only daughter of billionaire businessman George J. Maloof, Sr.
Adrienne is the co-owner of the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas and the basketball team Sacramento Kings.
There are rumors swirling that Adrienne Maloof may get her own spin-off reality show.
An insider reports, “The show is in the works and it will focus on Adrienne and her brothers and the Maloof family businesses. The show is in the early planning stages but it will be a competition-style reality show based around family businesses.”
Maloof previously stated that she is sad about the end of her marriage but is focused on her children.
Adrienne stated, “I’m so sorry that this is happening but my children are my life and sometimes we need to do what’s best for them. It’s an unfortunate situation but, I have to have my kids best interest at heart.”
